Black Fishtory Month
For: Postmates
Postmates was looking for a Black History Month initiative for 2023 that celebrates black cuisine. Being black, and southern, I thought about how important fish is in my family — and the community at large. So I pitched Black Fishtory Month — a celebration of the impact and legacy that fish has within the black community. I helped develop the concept that shaped a script written and performed by acclaimed food journalist Amethyst Ganaway.
